MY 4 PRACTICAL WAY TO STUDY THE BIBLE
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.”

as you hold firmly to the word of life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain
I am no pro at this but I have had this strong desire to study Gods word lately where I want learn along with apply anything from HIS word plus it fills me up ! Getting into this spiritual food it spiritually fills me up so much and helps me to face the world with a full soul and lovingly.
Lately I have been using the following tools to dig deep into scripture prayerfully as I go through it…..
PINPOINT METHOD:
Sometimes God shows me stuff just by simply me opening the book of the Bible he will show what he has for me like two nights ago he showed me Jude and I am still studying the whole chapter like this book of the Bible is right beside revelation and it is pretty short but there is something God is showing me in this and it also goes to show that even the small books has significance and come to find out me digging in this chapter I learned that Jude was in fact Jesus’ half brother along with the fact that he had two other brothers as well James and Joses. I am not Sure if you guys knew that but I was like wow!!! Getting closer to God has been so invigorating!!!!! My strength is helping me in more ways then I can even speak on…
2- RELATABLE TOPICAL METHOD:
SOmetimes I will be struggling with something specifically and the internet is a useful thing for so many things but it is also amazing when researching for specific scripture and commentaries along with bible definitions and regular definitions because the Bible also has some words in there that I don’t know in my English language but the internet helps me pick apart the words to validate the meaning of the texts throughout. So I dig into the topic that I am struggling with for example if you struggle with anxiety you can google scriptures about that specific word and along with using the Bible app (https://bible.com) (YOU VERSION) that is free we have Facebook app , instagram app, some have snap chat app, but Bible app is an amazing app as well I specifically use the you version app there are so many translations of the Bible I specifically use KJV a lot along with message version which is moreso story form and it breaks down in other words what chapters and verses you are reading are saying which is pretty cool at times. I also have an old life application new living translation study bible that I reference too because it gives an educational side of what the scripture means at the bottom so if I am reading my KJV I am working on praying more about it rather then reading it at face value but truly reading to let it teach me , guide, cut away anything that doesn’t need to be there along with allow it to be an application for my life .. (DON’T MIND MY RUN ONS)
3-Proverbs and psalms
NEED wisdom ?? WE ALL DO!!!! NEED REFRESHING OF GODS PROMISES? I believe we all do from time to time we can’t go wrong with proverbs and psalms

psalms=collection of poetry that recounts Israel's history and God's covenant promises.
4-Birds eyes perspective of the Bible
Jen Wilkins book “Women of the word” AMAZON LINK FOR BOOK (CAN also find it at thriftbooks.com ) studied at a small group years back and it gives some good direction on studying the word as a whole and digging deep along with truly getting the full understanding of it.

This helps understand out each chapter why it was put into the Bible as a whole, what its purpose being added to the Bible & how it can apply to your life.
